Ted and Karen Lada have been working with Tennessee Walking Horses since 1999. Their specialty is raising and training Spotted Tennessee Walkers. They have worked with accomplished rider/trainer, Babs Lohn who has over 40 years of experience with gaited horses. Their six Tennessee Walkers are like children to them. Visitors to Spring Gait Meadows have said that they are touched by the loving trusting ways of Karen's and Ted's horses. It is obvious that these horses are at one with themselves, living as a natural herd! Karen's first Tennessee Walking Horse, Springer, had in the past been abused. As a result, Springer had many issues but with love and patience he is now a very different horse here at SpringerSpring Gait Meadows. The Lada's are proud to say that Springer has gone from a horse that was a bundle of nerves to one that now enjoys taking beginner riders out on the trail and performing tricks at liberty.
