I recently celebrated my birthday at a restaurant, and I must say the server was outstanding - knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. The rest of the staff were equally friendly. The food was excellent; we opted for the Dine-Out menu, and the recommended drinks paired perfectly. I'll definitely be returning for another visit. Hold the bacon! If you're a bacon fiend, The Village may not be for you but they certainly make up for it with their smoked meat. Smoked meat bennys with a tasty hollandaise, a bagel with lox, and tasy coffee rounded out our Sunday breakfast. We were able to walk right in but a crowd started to form shortly after, so arrive earlier if you don't want to wait. There's limited seating but the restaurant is airy and casual.
