No Frills is my Go To store for everything. The staff are wonderful and very friendly ; however last week I was very disappointed. I realize the customer is 2 pack their own groceries and I did. I had approximately 12 - 15 items. I feel the young gentleman in this situation could have made an exception and assisted me. I had purchased a black square grocery bag so I wouldn’t need to use 2 plastic bags easier to carry. I have a broken arm and the young gentleman left and went to another. ? Read more

I was there to pick up some Coke Zero but non was on display. I asked Laura who was stocking the cheese freezer and not only did she go in the back and get me one but when I said I would like 6 she went and dug them out of a skid. They were on the bottom so she had to move a large number of others that were on top. Now that is going the extra mile and she deserves a big Thank You from me and a gold star from Scott. Love this store. Great layout, staff friendly approachable and very helpful. Treated like a friend every time, love it. Store clean, always, but they have seemed to go above and beyond during covid, and have continued to keep up this standard, where other stores are cutting corners! Good produce. Nice store. My brother-in-law has been butcher for many years in the grocery store chains and lives in Barrie area. He was very impressed with the store when he and my sister came to visit and dropped into the store. We were impressed as well have moved from the GTA last October. Love United Market, it offers many great products for Asians! I recently moved from Toronto to London, and have shopped around most of supermarkets in the area. Especially, there is a small section for Japanese and Korean cosmetics and groceries, such as Shiseido Anassa sunscreen, Tsubaki hair masks and other awesome products and prices are lower than Amazon. I hope they can offer Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner. Hope quality is good as I can’t see English in some products. Read more

I recently went into this wonderful store and was having difficulty walking due to recent surgery. The very nude cashier asked if I was ok. When I explained the walking difficulty due to surgery, she immediately called another worker to come and help me. The very nice man asked what I needed and told me to stay where I was and he would get it. Everyone was extremely helpful and I am very grateful. This store has wonderful caring employees and have the best customer service, by far. Read more
