I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness. The eat-in area is pretty basic. Definitely NOT somewhere to go on a first date. Come for the food, not the ambiance. Read more

We ordered seafood soup (like a gyoza soup), bul go gi, sashimi, three orders (6pc.) of unagi sushi, and tea (of course). The sashimi was fresh and the cuts were of a good size. I have been there many times before and the food is always tasty and well priced. I would recommend it to anyone!... However, as a personal sidenote...
