We love The Keg and often celebrate special events there. This past Tuesday evening, we had such family celebration and had special requests to make. The staff at The Keg Waterloo not only received us but accommodated us in such a welcoming way that made the event a success! The food was above reproach as per usual but the service, outstanding! I’ve been coming here since they first opened.I have noticed changes in the food portions.Twice now I have ordered #140 Malaysian Seafood Laksa Rice Noodle Soup in extra-large.It is disappointing.The actual bowl itself is large enough to serve four people.The noodle portion can fill a small coffee mug, the entire bowl is just soup, or seasoned broth. Some random seafood item and that is it. I had to make dinner after leaving because I was still hungry. Aside from that, I love this place.

Real food with Gluten-free options. The atmosphere is nice in that you can dress up or where jeans and there is a pretty outdoor patio. I wouldn't mind a little more variety but always have a good meal and again, can get gluten free. It's nice to have food that is made on site and not something from a chain.

Everything about this meal was fantastic! The service was polite and fast, and our water glasses were never empty for long. The antijitos were the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Everyone I went with was happy with their meal. A couple of people got the whoppie burger and really liked it, and fajitas was the special (which one person got and it looked great). Definitely try this little gem out sometime!

I enjoyed working at this location for several hours. No one harrassed me about using the table for so long and the food was tasty and healthy so I didn't feel like I'd overindulged. That is, until a young Williams representative approached me and gave me a free Belgian Waffle slathered in ice cream. I certainly couldn't eat the whole thing; but now I know a great idea for treating the kids the next time we're out!

This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours.
My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :)
The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat.
Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! My absolute favourite :)
Hands down, the best middle eastern cuisine in KW!

Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without.
Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry.
I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Their chicken korma is also delicious.
