The only reason I left a 5 star review was to the service we received. My steak was not cooked properly plus even they cooked it more from raw, the steak was bland, no flavor at all. I ended up loosing my appetite. The one thing that impressed me was our waitress. She tried her best and the manager told her that our bill was covered including our drinks. This shows me that the management supported their customers. I am a Keg person that in the past had little issues but it happens. Busy place. Read more

If you're looking for fine dining with great service and a relaxing atmosphere in Toronto, you'll need to look up to the sky and search for Canoe. Food: The menu is simple yet it's high quality and well prepared dishes with great wine and drinks pairing. We decided to go with an app, an entree, and dessert - although the dishes didn't surprise us, they still met our expectations of high quality. The real treats were the Oyster Boy's Finest and Pan Seared Quebec Foie Gras, each being a great start to our meal. Although it was great, it didn't end with a bang. The meal kept its pace right through to dessert. Service: The wait staff were very attentive and accomodating. Our server was attentive to our needs, and was engaged without being too involved in our dining experience. I was impressed by the service from everyone this evening! Atmosphere: I would definitely recommend trying to reserve a table by the window. The place is beautiful with the simple and modern decor, though the view of the city is an added bonus to your meal. It's definitely worth the visit if you're looking to dine in the sky with a great meal, but be prepared to empty out your wallet, because this place isn't cheap. Read more

How does this place have such a middling rating? Is it simply THE place to watch a game. Any game. As great as the setting is for watching sports, for me the food and beer selection are the heroes. The "wing king" chef earns his title, and the range of beers wipes the floor with Bier Markt. Yes, it's busy on game nights. The inside of this restaurant is quintessential diner. The lady behind the bar was very friendly as was our server. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh even though it was a busy time of the day. For the price, the sandwich was a little small but given the location so near to Yonge & Dundas I suppose higher prices should be expected. The huevos rancheros came with 2 eggs, a generous amount of black beans, avocado, and chorizo sausage as well as a delicious corn muffin. I was intrigued by this place when I saw a sign that said they were "sold out". Who sells out of burgers? Apparently, Burger's Priest does! I've been to this place numerous times, and the burgers are juicy and full of flavour. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's really small, so you can't really sit down and have your burger there. The other thing I don't like is that the line ups can be extremely long. Visiting the Falls and the bar was a 5 minute walk from the motel. The girl serving us, Kristen, was friendly and fast...had our drinks in no time even though it was busy and she was the only server. Food came fast, hot and exactly how I like my wings and I'm fussy! Spoke with Tuna (Charlie maybe?) behind the bar and told him that if I lived here, this is where I would hang out...he bought my wife and I a drink, which we thought was excellent. Went back the next night and ate something completely different and it to was excellent. Four dinners in 2 nights with about 8 pints total including somewhat generous tips brought the 2 day total to $92 CDN...the place is inexpensive and the food is very good. Read more
