Every one of the staff members were very courteous and attentive. My daughter had her newborn son strapped to her chest in a wrap and many staff members stopped by to see our 6 week old grandson. The manager on duty even stopped to ask how everything was. The food and service was wonderful. The food never fails to please. We also ordered takeout recently with chicken parm meal for 4. We were able to feed 5 adults and still have some leftovers for lunch. Excellent value!

This place was unbelievable. The wine selection is huge, and the food is to die for. The views of the falls are unmatched. The appetizer was SO delicious and the main course was even better.
I ordered the salmon, and it was cooked to perfection. I can't think of another way to describe this place, other than perfect. The server was attentive (except the water boy was slow), and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves.
Our bill for the two of us was $280 so it is a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it if you are visiting the Niagara region.
We ordered drinks, two mains courses, two appetizers, and two desserts.

I took a date there for date night. A nice, large booth was offered to us, very romantic and appealing.
The food was great in my opinion. Portions were very generous, and the flavour was more of a Canadianized Italian than authentic style. We both enjoyed or meal and the real treat came at dessert with the Chocolate Pizza - amazing and worth going again so I can introduce another to this delicacy.
The wine list was surprisingly diverse, a welcome treat. Our server treated us well. Based on my experience I would return to try it out again.

Four of us dined there on Tuesday March 19th and were happy with the meals with one exception, as there were 4 of us, we ordered 2 appetizers ( fried mushrooms and the bruchetta )
We were very surprised to only receive 2 ( thats TWO ONLY ) mushrooms for $12. ! and 3 pieces of bruchetta for another $11. ! -- we would return here but would never order appetizers here again and will warn our friends.

The restaurant inside was very warm so we ate on the patio and I felt like I was eating on the edge of a jungle. It was wonderful. They decanted our wine and we were treated well. Best buffet in Ontario. We have always dined at this location. Management listens and are very attentive to customer needs. It is always clean, has excellent service, friendly atmosphere, fresh foods, great desserts, hot and sour soup best we have ever had, replenished items often, very affordable, grilled meats, sushi very good, calories per serving displayed on each item, great location, easy to get to and never so crowded you do not want to enter. I went to Niagara Falls with my two sisters for an outlet shopping trip when we stumbled across Taco N Tequila restaurant after the local Red Lobster failed to impress us. I am not sure exactly what drew us into this strange bright yellow building, maybe that we wanted to try something different, and that tequila was in the title. Walking into the door we were welcomed by the Mexican owner and bartender, who also ended up serving us. The weather was not so warm, but there was a lot of sun coming through the front entrance so we sat there. The restaurant, with all of its sun and Mexican decorations, did actually feel almost like a nice resort vacation away from chilly Canadian weather. We all shared one of their special , which was quite the sight in its large fancy glass, and it tasted good too. A $25.00 lunch for 2 special was on which included one appetizer and two entrees. We shared the Guacamole and chips appetizer, and I had the Mexican tacos entree. Even with the third meal and a few Dos Equis our bill was not expensive by today’s standards. After eating a tasty heavy lunch (including a lot of beans), and having a few drinks, we were feeling happy, and even had a good chat with our server. Overall, Taco N Tequila was a recommendable place. It was clean, had friendly staff, tasty food, and a good atmosphere.

I'm not a very big fan of seafood, but I was won over by the incessant advertisements for Lobsterfest.
Gotta say it was the best dining decision made in a long time. This location was opulently decorated with wood interiors and it mainly had booth seating. After walking past a decorative stack of firewood outside, I was pleased to see a real fireplace inside.
After ordering entrees we were surprised to also get salads, potato sides, and these delicious little warm biscuits. The Lobster Trio was fantastic. The tail was meaty and came with plenty of butter, though it was unsalted butter and I had to add salt from the shaker to taste. Garlic shrimp were exceptional. The most remarkable treat was the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese that rounded out the trio. It was so rich and flavourul that I could not finish mine even though by every gastric impulse I had wanted to.
Soda pop has to be remarked on, it was rich and sweet the way fountain pop should be.
Sheldon was our server, and he did an amazing job. All other staff were friendly and courteous as well, which made it a beyond perfect atmosphere.

My first visit to The Feathery was almost 4 years ago, along with my brother and sister in law, whom live in St. Catharines. Everytime I come back for a visit we find our selves back dining there. However, my experiences there this past week were a hit and miss on service. Last night we actually asked to have our server changed as the waitress that was assigned to us us terrible. We were luck to have Lucinda, whom served us several times this week, sometimes twice a day......yes my family lives close. I look forward to dining there again upon my return to St Catharine s in March of 2013.

BUT they no longer have a lunch menu- which means having lunch here is now much more expensive than it used to be (ie. the stew used to be $11 for lunch, now its $18 off the generic menu). because of this- I likely will only come here for dinner now as Peterborough has lots of other reasonably priced lunch options.
