My FAVOURITE restaurant in Victoria. I know why my husband likes it here but it is my favourite too. They have a lot of kinds of alcohol and cocktails and light meals and are spi c and span. If there is a heaven, I hope to God Mon Petit Choux is the caterer. I'm pretty sure I could easily live out the rest of my natural life at a table in the corner - and easily slip into the next life completely satisfied. Why is it so divine, you ask? Well, for starters it's a French bakery and that's just about all you need to know. These people can do things with pastries that will make you forget you ever knew of the word diet - seriously look at the pictures! I started with the quiche, moved onto this divine pizza pastry, tried just about all of my friends pastries and finished off with a cappuccino. Then I went back to my hotel room and slept off the carb sins. I did not repent, nor do I ever plan to. One small word of warning for people with allergies though. The kitchen is not separate from the dining room and the air is filled with flour and sugar. Within 15 min of being inside my eyes were itchy and watering - but my companions who don't have allergies were fine.
