itake my mother and friends at least twice a year to her friends cottage near Perth. it is 2 hours from Niagara almost to the second, and it is at a perfect place to rest and enjoy their fare. Always delicious, and they have the BEST lemonde! Above all else are the wait staff gals, Rachel, Maureen(Mo) and the wonderful older gal, who name escapes me but not her skills at doing her job with professional attitude...i will continue to stop there, because those three gals are, the best! I saw this place featured on a food network teaser for a new show. Surprised when I talked to people and they all knew the place! So I took the 45 minute drive and it was well worth it. By far the best ribs i have ever had! And again i like places that serve real home cooked food. Read more

I brought my family to the Hyland this week and as always the food was excellent (and too much!) and the service was very friendly. Food is always delivered promptly, the restaurant is always clean, and overall, it is just a nice meal out with the family. I definitely recommend to any families visiting Port Perry. Us locals don't need convincing. Read more
