Traveling from the U.S.A., I recently had the pleasure of dining at iL Forno in Woodbridge, ON, Canada, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. Ohh goodness me, the Ja Jang Myeon (wheat noodles with black soybean paste) is HEAVENLY! After watching sooo many Korean Dramas and seeing all the actors/actresses eating this dish, I was finally able to taste it for myself and it was the most delicious bowl of noodles I have ever eaten! With such a unique taste and texture I basically gobbled and slurped my way down to the very last noodle.
With the restaurant having such a family-oriented business feeling to it, it really felt like I was enjoying a home-cooked Korean meal.

I've been to this restaurant more times than I can count. Besides the food being excellent and very inexpensive, the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. Service is always good and really fast so even if there is a line-up, it moves quickly. The soups are what they are known for and they are a meal and a half for $5.00! I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants and this one is consistently one of my favourites.It's the perfect place to enjoy a steamy bowl of filling soup with meat, dumplings and noodles on a cold winter night.

I have visited heaven on Earth when I discovered China Garden!! I moved to Canada in 1999, and in August I first discovered this place! Since then, it has been a love affair! It's one of the best values in Chinatown, just take it home and make your own rice. fast, convenient and I've never had anything I didn't like. I used to eat here on a weekly basis. Great! Huge portions, very reasonable prices. When I visit Toronto, I often go back to Buddha's. Great location also - close to Kensington and Bathurst/College area.
I usually get imitation duck - a layered (a little oily) tofu appetizer. I love the mushroom dishes.
Re: the service and atmosphere: I've had both great and crabby servers here, but the lady that handles the bills (I think it's the owner) has always been super nice to us. The restaurant is clean (usually packed); decor is minimal. I don't visit for the decor.
