I've been to Shoeless Joes in Alliston several times and have always enjoyed my dining experience. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is very inviting, comfortable and clean, but the real reason I keep going back is the food. Today was the first day I had been there in years, and things have changed... For the better :) I took my children there so they could see the streetcar like I did when I was younger. All of the staff was warm and welcoming, the streetcar was closed when I arrived but they overheard my childrens disappointment and opened the doors just for us. We were served promptly, and our food was ready in no time. Which I know for me is important when you take out your kids cause they can be soo impatient. My burger was cooked just the way I like it and my cheese was actually melted on which doesn't always happen in the fast food business. The onion rings were a little different than what I remember but they had a good combination of a crisp outside and a soft batter inside. My kids had more of my shake then I did but they seemed to love it lol. I will deffinately be goin back this summer on my way tothe cottage, it's so worth waiting for. Oh. Before I forget, parents be warned they don't have kids burgers, only nuggets which I thought were actually a great portion size. Oh and they're a cash only business they have an ATM, the only annoying thing about stopping in was the people in front of me in line didn't see the signs that clearly say cash only and held every one up. Hey everybody, I went to Sushi Kaika the other day, had a craving for sushi. The place has really changed, since I last visited. Keep in mind even though my recent review was posted recently, I went there 8 months ago. We got our food very quickly, service was great, unlike before. We have a young son, 2 1/2 now, the waitress was talking to him and engaging him in conversation. The food was excellent, if this experience happens all the time at Kaika, you can bet that we'd be going there again. Read more
