I am writing this in December of 2023, and I have been to the Bungalow a fair number of times over the past seven years. It is a great place to go, with great food and very good service. That being said, I call your attention to the fact that all of the other reviews on this website are AT LEAST 10 YEARS OLD and are therefore so out of date that they should be completely ignored.

They've been feeding member's of my family for over 40 years and it's now my obvious go to - literally the best Chinese food in the city! They truly care and even make their own plum sauce! Every bite is incredible and the chicken balls actually have chicken in them unlike other restaurants... not gristle on your meat and no grease. After years of eating at Under the Volcano we had another great meal once again. The margaritas are always good,as well as the chips and salsa before the meal. I tend to stick with the spicy foods whereas my wife prefers it relatively mild. My wife had the beef burrito and I the blackened chicken chimichanga (made extra hot). The desserts are fantastic but my favorite has to be the deep fried ice cream. The new location is still being settled into it seems but I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished.

My family and I have been coming to Grog's for years now. It's a great place to come to enjoy friends, food, and have a laugh. The service at Grog's is unbelievable great! Everyone is so nice and brings a positive atmosphere to the restaurant. It is always a good idea to make reservations before going to Grog's because it is always busy, in a good way. The location is just outside of the Grand Bend Strip, about a 10 minute drive with a lot of parking. It's a great place to go after a long day at the beach. Now, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. It is always fresh and delicious. My favourite dish there is the panzarotti with their famous zany bread, which I highly recommend. All the dishes they have on the menu are prepared in a timely manager and it never disappoints. Grog’s is a great place to bring your family and friends and enjoy all the wonderful people and food.

Our family from different cities often meet up here to visit and eat. Last night ( Oct 16) for the 1st time since the pandemic we met again. They were amazing. Our server was efficient, friendly and very accommodating. They served the 3 young children first and all our adult orders came out together. We stayed a very long time as we hadn't seen each other in over a year. They never tried to hurry us along. It was a wonderful time of meeting up and sharing a familiar meal together. Thanks !

Such good schnitzel, great spaezle, dumplings, red cabbage, saurkraut, and even a wonderful apricot crepe for dessert!

The Dawghouse is an awesome place to be. The wait staff are long-timers and know everyone. It’s a regular Cheers! So many regulars’ daily... including me. Prices are great the best dish is their Fireside Chicken dinner... their BLT. has 1/2 lb of bacon it in and their wings are always cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is so good.
