After knowing the great experience in Toronto at Wildfire we are so glad that Oshawa has opened this upscale steakhouse. There is no other place to go for a 1st class meal in Durham and we recently celebrated my fathers 90th in their party room. I ate here with my family and we were delighted to find another teppanyaki place after losing our favourite one in the west end, and being disappointed at the Village. I am disabled, and access use an issue that they cannot solve at that location, but they do everything that is possible to make up for it. We know our teppanyaki, and were very pleased. Not sure what to expect but the food was amazing! All of us are Caribbean(descent or born) & tried some of the jerk items on the menu. All of the positive comments were compared to what we have eaten from our various islands & the chef(s) there would be welcomed to our islands anytime with open arms! My family and friends have been coming here for upwards of 10 years. Since we have been coming, they have had the same 2 chefs, same owners, and same front house staff, we always know that our experience will be fantastic. They are always willing to accommodate (and remember ) my families various likes and dislikes, seating us at our favorite table, and make us feel like we are truly welcome.
