Came here on the recommendation of our friends and were delighted. Pilsner Urquell on tap and they make strawberry dacquiris which my wife loved. We had heard so much about the Borscht we had to try it and were not disappointed. Since it doesn't have meat it's nice and light with delicious flavour. The gypsy schnitzel had a lovely homemade ginger lemon chutney on it and my goulash came with dumplings. The service was attentive and friendly. We'll be back as we didn't have room for the apple strudel on this visit. Read more

When you go to chain restaurant, you often get apathy, slow service, and usually something below par. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, when we were seated, they did the server's name in crayon as many chains do, but also pointed out where the washrooms are and told us explicitly that we could ask any server for anything if she was not visible. The chocolate milkshake was loved by my daughter, and was nice and thick with the extra that didnt make the glass served in the stainless stell container it was made in. We were getting worried about service when our brushetta bread took so long, but the server showed up, and apologized for the delay telling us the original order was not up to par, so they remade it, and because of the delay, it was on the house. WOW - free food and I didnt have to complain at all. The chicken fajita was served sizzling hot and the wings were very good. The atmosphere is typical for a bar and grill, targetting the younger crowd. The staff all wore blue t-shirts with cheeky slogans such as "Please tip well - i know that's not your wife" and the servers are selected for certain assets that goes well beyond statistical coincidence. I would go back with the guys, or a business client, but not really a family place, but the food was very good, service was excellent, and little things like stocking diet redbull as well as the regular blue can, made it a great place to eat. I rated this Keg a 4 but that is a balance of infleucnes because there is a good side and a down side. The good: the cleavage OR the mini-skirts. Notice that checking out some cleavage on young ladies or short skirts is pure entertainment and super. BUt for some very strange reason no waitress has both of them. Its either this or that. What is the story? I dont know. The girls with cleavage have pants, the girls in minis have no cleavage. STRANGE> the other down side is the kids. People, if you have three kids can you ask them to stay at home or leave their baseball caps at home? this is a high class restaurant. There is a burger place around the corner did you mean to take them there? I am not going to come back and order alcohol if there are kids around. Visiting the Falls and the bar was a 5 minute walk from the motel. The girl serving us, Kristen, was friendly and fast...had our drinks in no time even though it was busy and she was the only server. Food came fast, hot and exactly how I like my wings and I'm fussy! Spoke with Tuna (Charlie maybe?) behind the bar and told him that if I lived here, this is where I would hang out...he bought my wife and I a drink, which we thought was excellent. Went back the next night and ate something completely different and it to was excellent. We were looking for a place to watch the Euro 2012 final and we decided to visit this place. When we walked in, the place was empty, apparently the downstairs doesn't open until much later than the upstairs. So, we decided to head upstairs. It was empty, there were only three people behind the bar (all servers) and us. We chose the table which was facing the TV screens. We asked the one server if she could lower the music and turn up the volume on the TVs. She asked her manager and gladly did so, she was very kind about it. The upstairs is huge, there are tons of tables and a few pool tables as well. There are also a ton of TV screens throughout the whole area. We ordered a bunch of appetizers as we were going to be there for a while. We first ordered the chicken wings. We ordered the first batch with mild barbeque sauce, and the second batch with honey mustard sauce. The mild barbeque ones were okay, but the honey mustard ones were awesome! I highly recommend the honey mustard ones. The only thing I found about the wings were that they were expensive, only eight small wings for $10, pretty pricey if you ask me. Then we ordered the smokehouse poutine; pretty good poutine but again, very pricey, $11 and it was a small dish. The next item was the spinach dip, this dip is beyond amazing, you definitely need to try it! It comes with a large serving of pitas and the spinach dip was warmed to perfection, AMAZING! After that, we tried the brie calzone, which was a huge disappointment. It was just a huge pocket of air, with a small lining of brie cheese and a small salad on the side, very disappointing. I wouldn't order it again only because it cost $10 and it wasn't that good. The service was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I would visit again and try a few different items.
