I don't know where to start on how impressed I was with this restaurant. I have been eating at Chicago Sandwiches for several months now and find the food to be superior to anything in the area. Food is always fresh, packed expertly, and served with the most courteous attitude that I've ever seen in an establishment. The staff is extremely pleasant and treats each customer with the best service. The only problem I've encountered, is that the portions are so large that I always end up with left-overs. I found my experiences at Chicago Sandwiches to be marvellous, and would encourage anyone interested in fine middle-eastern/mediterranean dining to give it a try - it obviously is one of the best middle-eastern/mediterranean restaurants in Toronto.‎ Read more

We have been here two times for dinner. The atmosphere is good, but a bit tight space to sit. The service is great and fast. The portions were big and the deal it, that you get a complementary delicious set of eggplant dips with bread. The food we had was very tasty and good. I don't recall the menus we had, but I recall that we liked it. All in all a pretty good food with the nice idea of the free appetizers. Always good to just hop in for a good spontaneous dinner. Went to DC with the child for open house and decided to look for lunch on the way to 401. We passed it and turned back as we didn't want fast food. It's a tiny place with 2 tables and 4 rickety chairs but we are happy we stopped there. The girl (owner's daughter it turns out) behind the counter was sweet and efficient. She made us 4 samosas & 4 shawarmas that were delicious and filling. The owner provided 2 free bottles of water for our 1st time there as well as a orange drink for the two guys ahead of us, also their 1st time. Friendly, fun and good food too. We put the tables together and had an excellent lunch. There's just no elegant way to eat shawarmas so you need lots of napkins. Wouldn't want to eat there in the winter as it probably gets quite cold in there. Read more
