Our first visit to Ithaca was wonderful! We’ll be back and are telling everyone who will listen, what a terrific experience we had. All staff are so friendly and gracious that it felt like we were in their home. The meals were beautifully prepared and presented and brought to the table with such a sense of pride and fun. The service here is great. I'm obsessed with the Singaporean-style slaw to the point where I've drove across the city just to get it as take out. The portion is great to save for a quick bite the next day. The tables are a bit close together in the room off the main room but the attentiveness of the servers makes up for it! Read more

Edulis is amazing. The only thing disappointing for me is when dinner is over. The food is phenomenal, the service is warm and friendly, and the space is comfortable and unpretentious. They go above and beyond with thoughtful touches to the experience, like remembering it was my husband and my anniversary. I had heard terrific things about Domani, a restaurant run by a former pro footballer from Afghanistan who has worked at some of Toronto's top restaurants, and had to come down to High Park and see for myself. The service was very courteous, prompt, and personal. At no point did we even have to ask for anything because it was already taken care of. The food was exquisite, well-presented and skilfully prepared. The portions were large but despite being quite full it was too delicious to leave any behind. The desserts were absolutely amazing, though next time I would do without the espresso. Though Domani requires a bit of a journey, I have not eaten anywhere in Toronto where gourmet food of this quality is available at such a reasonable price and accompanied by such excellent service.
