I love this restaurant. Whether you go for lunch or dinner you can always be guaranteed a wonderful meal. The new owners have added a few new dishes to the menu and I have to say, the service is friendlier than it used to be under the previous owners. I had the caesar salad (the dressing is amazing) and baked penne which was cooked perfectly (al dente). There was no room for dessert but the crepes sounded fantastic.

I visited this establishment with some potential clients the other day and was taken back by the service we had. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. The Manager himself made his way to our table and ensured we were happy with our orders, which we were. My clients who were from the States were happy and we also got a deal done. Visited Claudio's with family last night for our 25th Anniversary dinner. Every detail was perfect from the greeting at the door by the owners/chef, the private table, the attentive service and last but not least, the amazing food. Some really nice touches such as bringing out a few bottles of recommended wines for us to choose from. Our waiter, Ignatio suggested that he bring out a tasting plate of chef Kristina's beef shortrib stuffed ravioli for all of us to try. Great suggestion! It was one of the tastiest raviolis I have eaten. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine and overrall dining experience. I think our family has a new favourite for special and memorable dinners out. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I just came back from dinner after finally making a trip into this hidden gem. We live in the area and always walk by and promised ourselves we'd make our way in at one point or another.
We are huge on trying out new restaurants for great food and great service. We often dine out at 5 star restaurants and Grano Ristorante is now in our top 5. It is a cozy, dimly lit restaurant with welcoming and attentive staff. Our servers were well-knowledged in not only their menu, but in Italian cuisine overall. They were a delight!
My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi which could only be described as out of this world! It had this perfect light texture and feel as the ricotta gnocchi just melted in your mouth. The chicken marsala was a light blend of savoury and sweet, perfect to the last bite. The food is served hot and fresh which makes a great deal of a difference when dining out.
I can't wait for my next stop inside, or for an order to go. They will certainly be seeing us again and again.

I've been to a lot of Italian Fine dining restaurants and this one in particular stood out to me. The food was very well cooked to my liking. The pasta itself was perfectly made and the sauces always compliment the dish! I had the Fusilli Rustica with Rose sauce. The service is phenomenal. Always friendly and they really know their dishes. The price is also VERY affordable compared to other restaurants. The ambiance suits the restaurant and it really is a beautiful place. It makes me feel like I'm in Italy !
I highly recommend this fine-dining restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

This place is one of my favourite places in all of Hamilton to go - I usually only go on special occasions as I revere the food and pastas that much and would never want to spoil the pleasure in which I have each outing I go.
I boldly say that of my seven years in Hamilton that this is the best italian restaurant in the city. My favourite dish is the Chicken Parmigiana - the meal always feels like it was cooked right then and there and the quality is unreal, it just is perfectly cooked just a notch past al dente pasta with a delicious red sauce and a great serving of chicken cutlets. The servers are always top notch and so respectful and always take good care of things. To work there I would definately have some pride in my work, just outstanding place in all.

The vegetable lasagna was delicious, the sea food salad was superb, however the tiramisu was awful. I can't remember the name of the sea food pasta that we ordered but it wasn't good either. My family has been coming to Enzos for over 25 years. It is a great place for Italian food. The owners are very down to earth people, that go out of there way, to make sure everything is good. The staff is very friendly, and accomodating. We brought our kids there, from toddlers, They are now both grown up, and continue to eat at Enzos. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Never disappointed. The pasta sauces are excellent. Pizza's taste great. Lasagna, shrimp and scallop fettucine, chicken, veal dishes are all awesome. We have had a couple of private parties there, and everyone left full, and very satisfied! It is a great place for casual, or romantic dinners.

I have been meaning to write a review since November. I hadn’t been to Julia’s in a while and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant to take some friends from Toronto. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and thought perhaps something had changed since we last there. We decided to take out friends there anyway (on Saturday November 20) and couldn’t have had a more pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I went back there for New Years and had another evening of wonderful food and a cozy table.
Every time I have been to this restaurant I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend Julia’s to others.
