Love their food!! Good quality food and and always in the right portion. Of course, you would need to specify how much of each order of food your would like so you can try a variety of food there. They rearely missed an order!

After reading about Ding Tai Fung in the local newspaper, we tried it this morning with my wife and her parents. And, we were rewarded with excellent dim sum. The menu is a la carte, so everything arrived piping hot and fresh. The deep fried squid tentacles were amazing, perfectly salty & crunchy. Siu Mai was also good, done a little differently with brown rice on top. The green onion pancakes were flavourful, and not too oily. Xiao Long Bao were heavenly, with moist flavourful pork on the inside and perfectly done wrapping. We also ordered steamed vegetable buns, spring rolls, and a sticky rice bun called "si fan" with salty, crispy pork rolled into the inside.
The decor is nice, and restaurant seemed very clean overall. Bill was $58 fo 4 adults including tip.
I think this is some of the best dim sum in the GTA, and we've eaten extensively from Markham to Scarborough to downtown Chinatown. My parents in law who are from Taiwan and China were also impressed. We'll definitely return!

Last week we had to organize a sudden meeting for our project with US clients. Due to lack of time we missed out planning for lunch but thanks to my ‘Opentable’ app Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Parmigianino, Spring Lamb with red wine that I found Carmelina Restaurant in Woodbine Avenue. Their event catering service for lunch & evening snacks made me & my team proud on my decision. I wonder how I missed looking this food place for last many years. Thank you Abbas for your cooperation & on-time food catering service with delicious Italian food as our guests loved it. Looking forward to visit the place personally and relish all again the Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Parmigianino, Spring Lamb with red wine.

The place has the best homemade burger! Fresh, not frozen, very flavorful and big! I went in the other day for lunch (we had been waiting for them to open for months!). There was a bit of a line but it went fast. The lady at the cash (the owner?) even told me to call ahead next time if we were rushed to get back to work but we were able to sit and eat in plenty of time. Really friendly staff. My friend ordered the chicken souvlaki and said it was excellent - next on my list to try ;). They are open for breakfast and lunch/later afternoon. The place has been completely cleaned up from the prior residents - very clean and bright. Plan on picking something up for dinner tomorrow!

Been coming here for years. I dont know who wrote that last review but they must have a screw loose. What would you expect if you tried to get a table for 7 people on a saturday nite without a reservation when the place is lined up. We had a great time, the food was good and the service was adequate considering how busy the place was. The lineup indicated they are doing something right. It was pretty decent. We got the beef wrapped in pancake, smoked pork with pancake and shrimp dumplings. It's a lot of carbs, so you get full pretty quickly. If I had to do it again, I would get one pancake dish and two types of dumplings instead.

I visit Chauhan last Saturday around 7 pm where we were only 2 however within 20 mins it was full. food was just awesome , I had Tandoori chicken with best hot Roti and my partner had Daal makhni and Veg beryani. I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness.
The eat-in area is pretty basic. Definitely NOT somewhere to go on a first date. Come for the food, not the ambiance.

The food there will always be amazing... The owners there constantly keep an eye on the chef. They can smell any imperfections in your dish (eg. more wine, more sauce, etc).

Hey, so its your standard greasy spoon. Quick service with a open kitchen so you can see whats going on. I work about two blocks away so I eat there probably 2 times weekly on average. I have never been let down. 5.95 for a lunch special that is more than I can eat, although Im sure that some ppl would have little problem ingesting the mountain of food. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and price of the food at Sushi House. We ordered seafood soup (like a gyoza soup), bul go gi, sashimi, three orders (6pc.) of unagi sushi, and tea (of course). The sashimi was fresh and the cuts were of a good size. I have been there many times before and the food is always tasty and well priced. I would recommend it to anyone!... However, as a personal sidenote... I prefer sashimi to be really cold, almost-but-not-quite-frozen. The sashimi at Sushi House was cold but not as cold as I like it.
