My family loves to get together over breakfast and catch up on each others lives. Our #1 choice for the past 10 years is the Daily Grill. Wait staff are always friendly, and they remember us and even my nephews' orders (which rarely vary). The "Requisite" breakfast is an exceptionally good deal and always arrives quickly and hot! My Mum loves the Belgian waffles, my nephews rave about the pancakes, my Dad enjoys the steak and eggs. We do go for dinner sometimes. The chicken parm is a big serving of homey deliciousness that will leave the hungriest diner full. My husband, who loves a good burger and is picky about what exactly that constitutes, says the Grills' banquet burger is one of the best out there. Good hours. Lots of parking. But be prepared for a wait to be seated for breakfast on Sat and Sun. It's popular!

I plugged in "diner" in YP search, because i wanted something quick an basic. Red House popped up, and I am so glad that it did! I was pricier than a diner but that was fine with me. It was reasonably priced and the quality of food makes it worth it! Service was excellent as well. I came for lunch (table for 1) but will definitely be back... Can't wait to try dinner and something from the extensive wine list! Red House is a gem that is tucked away but worth the find!!!

I had a wonderful server, she was polite, and knew how to add that little something to make my day. The best server is Hailey. She was prompt with bring out the food and drinks. With out being to prying she discovered that I was down about spending my birthday alone. She gathered her team mates and sang me happy birthday. A Kitchener standby on Highland Road ... very busy all the time ... usually a 5-10 min wait ... but worth it ... the Asian lady who owns or runs the franchise has been there for at least 8 years and keeps things moving ... food always great ... for a down easterner (Halifax) ... it's always nice every now and then to have a feed of fish 'n chips (haddock every time) ... love the unlimited fries ... just wish the cole slaw side was larger ... that being said great food ...
