What a fantastic little eatery for a casual bite. Fantastic selection of nibblies and an even better selection of beers from around the world. A definite must for anyone looking to chill out in a funky downtown spot. Expect to wait on busy nights, I've been there twice now and each time had to wait 10 minutes for a table but the wait is worth every second...not to mention that they will bring you your first drink order to sip while you wait for a table to come free. The pasta can tend to be ordinary from the perspective of the selections but they put together good food and they offer a fun atmosphere and decor that makes them a good family restaurant for when you are downtown with your family. My wife is a sushi expert. She has tried almost every sushi restaurant in the downtown vicinity on multiple occassions and quite often the staff will know who she is. That being said, I definitely trust her opinion on Sushi and right now this place is her favorite. It is a small sit-down/takeout restaurant on Robson street and it is fairly new, and the sushi is fantastic. The salmon is always fresh and since they don't serve famred salmon it is always amazing. The miso soup is complimentary with a minimum $5 order and the staff are always pleasant. The only downside is they don't have any cooked food, it is purely sushi with some noodle soup options.
