I just tried the chicken souvlaki wrap that comes with greek salad and fries. It was all awesome, the fries, great greek salad and the chicken wrap was aaaamazing. Great sauce on it with a nice seasoning on the chicken. Just had dinner at the bistro and it was fantastic. The service was great and the waitress was very helpful and answered all the questions we had about the menu and drinks. She was very personable and made the evening very enjoyable. The food was fantastic. We had the crab and shrimp cakes and bruschetta for appetizers which were great. All four of our entrees were hot, flavourful and delicious. We had two pasta dishes, lamb chops and a chicken dish which were all delightful. We were able to substitute sides without a problem or fuss from the waitress. We also had two desserts which were also fantastic. I have been to the bistro now four times and very time I have had something different and it has always been great. No complaints about anything. Great evening and atmosphere with a fantastic meal. Would definitely return. Read more

This is a small diner and very unassuming, but do not let the exterior fool you. The food is excellent. I ordered out 12 fish and chip dinners for Good Friday. We had 9 haddock and 3 halibut. Butternut squash soup was tasty, grilled shrimp had a nice kick (from the chili oil), hand-made gnocchi was surprisingly light (a great appetizer that was a special of that night), grilled beets with spiced pecans and goat cheese was unusual yet delightful, lamb shanks (also a special that night) was tender but the sauce was quite overwhelming, and of course, the maple cheesecake was delicious (yet not too sweet). Overall, we felt the food, service, price, portions and ambiance was perfect. Duane (our server and the manager) is entertaining and knowledgeable with wine pairings. Ryan is a terrific chef and it's obvious that he puts much care when preparing the food. We look forward to dining at Mamo Bistro again soon. Read more

My family went to shoeless joes this past sunday because we herd it was under new management, and really wanted to try it. We went in and were greated promply. The server was very polite and had great meal suggestions. I informed my waitress about an allergy and they were very accomidating. We had 5 cheese dip for an appitizer, a peppercorn steak and smothered chicken for the meal. IT WAS AMAZING! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the tvs in every booth kept my son occupied. We had a very enjoyable experience. The manager came to the table and enquired how the food and service was. He was very polite and easy to talk to. when the bill came the waitress informed us that it was kids eat free on sundays. That was the icing on the cake. We will be back! Read more
