I can't find the Waterloo location on this site but this review is about my experience there. Went on a Wednesday with girlfriends for drinks and nibbles in the bar. The service was awesome and the food was pretty quick and very tasty. We shared spinach dip, antojitoes and nachoes and we were stuffed! We didn't know a band would be playing and it was an added bonus. We had a great time and have plans to make this our regular get- together hangout! Read more

Ye's sushi is probably one of the best places in the whole K-W area to get sushi. It is truly a wonderful experience. The service was good, nothing to complain. The atmosphere was not all that good, but all of those dissapointments were made up in the food. The food is phenomenal; there is nothing thats "adequate" about it. A pleasant stop if you are in Ilderton, and especially if you are a fan of a pub atmosphere and cask conditioned ale. I've been here several times, and I usually stick with the nachos because they are a great value and are also quite tasty. But I have had the Steak and Guinness Pie which is also quite the treat. Service has always been great when I have been. I always get a few pints of cask ale when I go, and am never disappointed. It is always fresh and well kept. Rich is a true cellarmaster and knows his beer. As a result, this is a destination for lovers of true cask ale, and the only place in the south west of Ontario to try this unique style of ale. The atmosphere is comfy, nice booths, a bar to sit at, a seperate room with televisions for those inclined to watch a game, and there is also a large screen in the main room for the larger events. Overall, highly a recommended stop if you are in Ilderton or area. No where else near here can you get cask ale, great service, and really tasty food. I'll be back! Read more

I've been to my share of Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in the region, and Northern Thai certainly ranks near the top. The place is clean, if a bit dated in its decor. (And please, if you see this: change your front signage. Blah!) If you've never heard Thai pop music before, you're in for a treat for the next hour or so. Service is always attentive, courteous and mostly friendly. As with most Thai places, very willing to accommodate for vegetarians, too. The food is colourful, fresh and immensely tasty. Plenty of cilantro and basil to go around for all! The vegetables are plentiful and cooked to perfection. I'm particularly a fan of their Thai sticky rice, a nice change of pace from the standard jasmine rice that most places only offer: dense, flavourful, and arriving in it's own small steam basket. Their vegetable curries are jam-packed with a large variety of fresh veggies and thinly sliced tofu. Om nom noms, indeed! Read more

Since moving to the north end of London in 2011, my family has started to frequent this restaurant. The staff is always pleasant. Have never had poor service in the year that we've been going. Breakfast is good, except sometimes the homefries are a bit cold/frozen. The specials at dinner are a reasonable price for all that you get. My family loves to get together over breakfast and catch up on each others lives. Our #1 choice for the past 10 years is the Daily Grill. Wait staff are always friendly, and they remember us and even my nephews' orders (which rarely vary). The "Requisite" breakfast is an exceptionally good deal and always arrives quickly and hot! My Mum loves the Belgian waffles, my nephews rave about the pancakes, my Dad enjoys the steak and eggs. We do go for dinner sometimes. The chicken parm is a big serving of homey deliciousness that will leave the hungriest diner full. My husband, who loves a good burger and is picky about what exactly that constitutes, says the Grills' banquet burger is one of the best out there. Good hours. Lots of parking.
