My FAVOURITE restaurant in Victoria. I know why my husband likes it here but it is my favourite too. They have a lot of kinds of alcohol and cocktails and light meals and are spi c and span. I liked the décor, the friendly staff & owners.I ordered the Salmon & Chips (fish & chips made with Salmon instead of Cod or Halibut, which they also had). The Salmon was Wild, & delicious. They have specials & Seniors day, which is nice. This was my second time here. The 1st time I took out of town guests from Okanagan who used to live on West Coast of Vancouver Island. The one request they made for when I was taking them out to dinner was fresh seafood. They loved it. I definitely will return. Read more

I have tried dozens and dozens of Chinese Places in Victoria area (even in China Town), and abroad. This one, is by far the best I've tried in the last 20 yrs!! The food is authentic and full of flavour and yet very light (not greasy or heavy). It is DELICIOUS! But what I also like about this restaurant is it is very friendly and clean and tastefully decorated. I had friends that worked there said it is very clean, and the work ethic is known to be very high and they treat their employees very well. Prices are slightly higher than other Chinese places, but good value. Eat in, take out, or delivery available. I have known this restaurant since it first opened 15 years ago and has always been exceptional. This is a hidden gem! Highly recommended!!! Read more

Our family usually goes across the street for Christmas dinner but this year they were closed so we decided to try Haro. We were not disappointed in fact this will be the new family tradition . The meal was classic with a sophisticated twist and the portions were extremely generous . The service was lovely and the kitchen staff were calm and professional from our vantage point .
