We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. My first visit was pleasant enough. We were greeted right away and accomodated for our party of 5. At first I was not really impressed with only the 'make your own stirfry' option for dinner but was told it was excellent. Tons of selection of meats, veggies and sauces...wasn't sure where to start! Guys at the fryer seemed to really enjoy their jobs, it was very entertaining to watch. Food was really yummy. Atmosphere was alright, didn't really notice any defectives like others are posting. Waitress was somewhat reliable in refilling our drinks. When it comes to tipping, the guys at the fryer really earn theirs however not sure about the waitresses as all they did was bring us water....nothing from the menu was ordered. The only downside to this place is the price (15.99 per person Mon-Thurs is the deal we did) but I guess for others it's an awesome price for the food.

My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though.
I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. Thank you for a great night out!

I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable. Wabora is an awesome place for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere enjoyable and clean. I highly recommend making reservations to eliminate wait time for seating.
The food is amazing every time I go and is perfect for a special occasion or just for a nice dinner out. I don't think it is that expensive for the quality of food you are receiving, however the alcohol drinks are on the pricey side. I highly recommend Wabora.

My boyfriend and i are regulars at Mustangs... It is such a fantastic atmosphere...Now this is how you do a bar and grill.... the waitresses are always fantastic. The owner is there on a regular basis to check up on everyone and see how their meals are going. They usually start you out with fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa while you're waiting on your meals. The specials they have are great... Monday & Wednesday nights are wing nights... you can get 2 pounds for the price of 1... If we go on a wing night the bill usually only comes to just over 20$... cant beat that!!.... Tuesday nights are Munchie Nights.... they have a seperate menu for appatizers that are on special.... they are all very delicious... and there is a wide variety.... Thursday nights are all you can eat rib nights... the ribs are very good (as i'm told by my boyfriend, because i'm not a fan of ribs)... Friday and Saturday nights are Prime Rib nights..... i've never personally had the prime rib, but i've heard its delicious!... and Sunday nights are Fajita nights.... you can get a large portion of fajitas for 2 people... i cant recall the price, but it is very reasonable!... Overall this resturaunt is amazing.... my boyfriend always says "you'd eat here for every meal if you could"... Their Chicken Club is what we usually get.... It is so delicious... fresh chickn breast on a garlic toast french baugette.... we get the French Onion Soup as our sides most of the time... it is the best i've ever had (mind you i just started eating french onion soup... so i haven't had it from a ton of places, however it is the best from here).... We are a huge fan of the Nachos (there is so much toppings on them).. we usually get the chicken ones.... Also the BBQ chicken brachetta is amazing!... If we are feeling like it after our meal we'll ask what the desserts are for the evening... i dont know why we ask, because we always decide on the brownie pail to split between us... it is so great.... fresh warm brownies (4), rich vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream... its the perfect dessert to end an increadible meal!.... The one thing that i do not like about Mustangs is the Birthday song they blair everytime someone has a birthday!!!!.... We get it.. someone is a year older.... Please just clap and sing.... the sombraros are so funny... but sometimes they play the song way too loud... one time we were sitting right by the speaker... they had a lot of birthdays during that visit.... BAH NA NA NA NA NA... TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY... sometimes i cant get it out of my head.... That is my only complaint... So if you are looking for excellent food, a fantastic atmosphere and a quality resturaunt... i'd like to recomend you check out Mustang's Big Ol' Grill-- you'll thank me later!

I know there were issues with this place but over the last month management seem to have made a real effort to get things sorted out with a new bar person and new staff and a manager that now walks the floor to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Today we were served by Erika (2nd day on the job). She took the order and we were delivered exactly as requested - food piping hot, extra sauces the full works. Service was amazing - our glasses were never empty.

Although they're famous for their chicken, we'll be going back for their fish (and maybe try the chicken for my 'no way I'm eating fish' husband). My son and I were looking for a quick bite for lunch after doing some shopping at the nearby Scholars Choice and found this place. Smelled soo good. As we didn't see a lot of prices or labels, my son ordered the Portuguese sausage sandwich and I lingered over the windows filled with mountains of fish, rice, potatoes and was served by a very pleasant and helpful young man. I asked about a particular dish and ended up ordering the amazing looking and super delicious cod with a side of potatoes, The server put two layers of potatoes in a good sized container, covered it with the huge portion of cod and then he began spooning a loving amount of the yummy sauce over the dish. As it really isn't a sit down place, we were hungry and ate there. I paid less than $20 and was in heaven. My son enjoyed his sausage but will definitely order the cod next time. Was surprised to read about 'grumpy' servers. Ours even thanked us for coming on our way out. Maybe because it was in the early Friday afternoon, we saw that customers were served quickly (looked like they ordered huge quantities ahead) and courteously. Definitely going back for that cod. Pssst...I overhead the guy tell someone its only available Fridays and Saturdays.

We went here for 2 for 1 wings. Ordered all the different flavours they had, and they were ALL very good. It was busy and loud, servers were awesome and wait time wasn't too bad. We'll be going back to try some other items on the menu for sure.

My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :)
The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat.
Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! My absolute favourite :)
