Old Stylel Hardware, This store is exactly like the small town hardware store in the town where I grew up. It's like going back in time. They have items I didn't even know were still being made and the people are friendly and unlike Home Depot they actually know what they are talking about when you ask a question.
I've moved to the North York area and I still find myself
going to this store once in a while.
I went to purchase an attachment for my washing machine & like to shop "locally", the young gentlemen who were there insisted that the attachments I needed would fit even though I "INSISTED" even more than they that I did NOTbelieve the attachments would fit - I left after they re-assured me over & over & over "don't worry - it will work perfectly" - only to get it home and have it NOT fit as I had told them & suspected. I returned one hour later to be informed that even though they insisted and just short of "guaranteed" that the attachments I purchased would be perfect"", that they had a "NO Return policy" on anything that was opened...and of course I had to open the attachments, so they refused to do anything.
BE WARE - DO NOT SHOP HERE
- in addition to the above they did not care at all that I had just paid $40.00 for nothing and "giggled" when I told them I would not be back.
