We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our family at Michaels On The Thames on Oct/5/19, we had a most enjoyable dining experience, the private dining room was a nice touch for our celebration.Joelle made us feel very welcomed and provided a service that was very much appreciated.Todd our server was super with making sure all of the guest were looked after. I find myself at this place multiple times during the week. I go for breakfast one day, lunch the next, and then for dinner another day, and I'm usually there for the nights events. They have great concerts, great food, the staff, at least the bartenders and bouncers are all fantastic and some of my good friends, and the service is more often than not fast and helpful. Just the other day after going to this place for a year and a half, had my first bad experience with service, but after mentioning it to the manager, everything got sorted out and I still had an excellent meal even though it was a bit slower than usual.
And their drinks are fantastic. I've only had one bad drink there and that was after they just started a new barrel so the beer was a bit watery - I just asked for a new one and they gave it to me no problem.
I can't say enough good things about this place. I never turn down an invite to this place.

I took my husband out for dinner last night, to celebrate his birthday. It was our first visit to David's and we were both impressed.
First, I want to commend the great service we received. We were looked after in a timely, and polite manor. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and wines.
We only ordered entrees, as we aren't big eaters and find restaurant portions fill us quickly. He ordered the chicken and wow -- the bacon sauce was fantastic. I kept trying to steal it of his plate. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. My gnocchi was light and tasty. But I will say that my sauce was a little bland in comparison to the bacon sauce. Not that there was anything wrong with my balsalmic/tarragon jus/with onions, it was good, but the bacon sauce would beat just about anything hands down.
My only constructive criticism would be that the pink/red walls are a little jarring and the awning out front could use a wash (covered in bird droppings).
So yeah - not much to complain about.
We'd definitely go again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend others try it out.

We decided to try Waldos for valentines dinner and was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I selected from the set menu and chose the steak. The appetizers were great, baked brie, smoked salmon salad and lobster bisque were all very nice. Our meal arrived and was cooked to perfection. The steak was exactly as we asked, asparagus was cooked perfectly as were the roasted potatoes.
As our meal was to be followed by attending a play at the Grand Theatre, our time was limited. Joe, our server, was a great representative of the restaurant and ensured that we were served in a timely fashion. Time ran short and since we could not take the set dessert with us... Joe arranged for us to have a different dessert to take with us. Joe was a great guy who helped make the evening a success. The only suggestion would be for the restaurant to have complimentary roses for all the ladies in attendance. We will certainly return again soon.

My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though.
I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. Thank you for a great night out!
