We decided to try Waldos for valentines dinner and was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I selected from the set menu and chose the steak. The appetizers were great, baked brie, smoked salmon salad and lobster bisque were all very nice. Our meal arrived and was cooked to perfection. The steak was exactly as we asked, asparagus was cooked perfectly as were the roasted potatoes. As our meal was to be followed by attending a play at the Grand Theatre, our time was limited. Joe, our server, was a great representative of the restaurant and ensured that we were served in a timely fashion. Time ran short and since we could not take the set dessert with us... Joe arranged for us to have a different dessert to take with us. Joe was a great guy who helped make the evening a success. The only suggestion would be for the restaurant to have complimentary roses for all the ladies in attendance. We will certainly return again soon. Read more

Lots and lots of options for rolls, doesn't stick to the bog standard, which seems to be one of the biggest issues for every other sushi restaurant in London. Creative and delicious combinations. we went for a friend's birthday dinner. her and her bf love the place. they talk about it all the time. i have heard mixed reviews about the place. going online and checking out menu didn't look too appealing to me. regular food with a high price and over stuffed with "expensive" words for simple ingredients i had a glass of the Chardonnay from usa. excellent should have order 1.2 liter. i shared the sicilian mussel except made not spicy (don't like spicy food). the broth has aromatic and delightful. nice tomatoes, olives and onion broth. mussels were plump and tasty. the table bread was amazing. i usually steer away from bread because it is dry and garbage. but this was warm, soft and fluffy in the middle with a slight chew and crispy on outside. i ordered the shrimp and scallop carciofi (fettucine) made without cream and with tomato instead. the pasta was cooked perfectly, scallops a bit fishy, shrimps were poached perfectly. a bit too much tomato but im a bigger fan of cooked pasta perfect el dente. people sitting around me ordered veggie gnocchi (she loved it), short rib gnocchi (he wolfed it down and wanted more), prosciutto fuselli (she said pasta was amazing too slow portion and prosciutto tasted like bacon, pork chop dinner (thought it was amazing), smoked chicken el la vodka (he said was ok). food was good better than i expected. a bit over priced but it was a friend's birthday. Last night we decided to go out and try a restaurant we had never been to before. My husband said he felt like Indian food so we decided to try Curry's. What an enjoyable experience! Starting off we were presented with refreshing lime water, the decor was very classy with low lighting and Indian music faintly playing in the background. Our candlelit table was soon laden with scrumptious food starting with an appetizer called Onion Bhaji, six pieces of shredded onion breaded with spiced chickpea batter. Since we follow a vegetarian diet, we decided upon Vegetable Tandoori Masala as our main course. The spicy curry tomato was paired with fresh hot green chillies, spices and vegetable pllao creating an authentic Indian flavor. "Best curry I have ever tasted" was my husbands comment. Our waiter was very polite and attentive and filled out stainless water glasses on numerous occasions with a smile. I would highly recommend Curry's Restaurant for anyone looking for high quality Indian fare served in a fine dining setting. Read more

I have visited this sushi restaurant many times since it has opened and I bring new people with me to share the experience. The food is fantastic, fresh and tasty. My favorites is the seaweed salad and the mango rolls although there are many dishes I like. The prices are very good for all you can eat or order meals off the menu. It is not a buffet but you order dishes until you are full. But remember that if you can't eat it you can take it home for the price of the dish. Which is fair. Classico's feature a variety of Mediterranean and Portuguese cuisine. Some great aspects of the restaurant is their use and selection of fresh ingredients, individualized service, and intimate atmosphere. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and sat. After getting situated the owner approached us and started a casual conversation and asked us if we were interested in eating seafood or meat. We chose seafood and the owner then informed us that he would prepare us a personalized platter for two that we could share. This was kind of a relief because the menu was small didn’t have many items that were tempting to me. He also helped us pick out a bottle of Portuguese wine that complemented our dinner perfectly. . We were very impressed with the quality and freshness of food that we were served. Our Appetizer was grilled Ahi Tuna that had been brought into the restaurant that day. Our platter had some of the best tasting seafood that we have ever had, each prepared in a different way with a complementary fruit or vegetable. I really enjoyed the small and intimate atmosphere, there were about 20 small tables inside and four tables on their small patio at the entrance. Overall it had a very warm and cozy feel. I would recommend Classicos to anyone who enjoys fresh ethnic food for a moderate and fair price. If you enjoy family run places rather than franchise type establishments this is the place to go. The service is helpful and goes beyond expectations, perfect for small family gatherings or couples of all ages. Also returned six months later and the wait staff and owner recognized me immediately!
